Druid help.

So Ive played EQ off and on since Kunark Live and have mostly played melee (rogue) and I did lvl a Shaman to lvl 32 once.

I am playing p99 blue and have a lvl 21 Druid and have decent gear, But I seem to go OOM or close too it having to re-charm constantly. Also When having to re-charm right before it is close to finishing the mob usually bashes me and I have to re-cast. My question is do I snare my pet and the mob I'm trying to kill or just the mob I am trying to kill? Any tips greatly appreciated.
