How exciting. By contrast, the classic Discord server rankings were based on kill points so there was actually a reason to continue playing for the lifetime of the server: Quote:

I dont think anyone gives a shit about the hall of fame part. Most of us just want to play on a perma death server. I could be wrong and you do make a valid point if anyone is actually trying to "win." I just hope to survive and kill as much people as possible.

If you are having fun while playing a video game, you are winning.

I don't mind permadeath but +/- 20 lv range is silly as hell.

How about some sort of ELO system used for chess, based not on the level of the character or the number of kills, but the time the character is played. At the end of the server, tally the number of hours played + the number of hours played by all the kills of this character * some modifier.

If you can just live with the fact that you aren't going to win this server and you are playing just to mess around you will have a better time.
The people that win are just going to be grinding for 2-3 weeks straight 12 hours a day. | ||
