Default Reduced loot/coin from mobs?

Just wondering if there's any such thing as reduced returns that have been implemented on the server, either for something that's been camped a lot or for mobs that are green to a player? Do they have a higher chance of dropping less coin and fewer items then? I can't remember if that's how things worked back on live in 2000 or not.

No, the pool is the pool.

Also rogues pickpocketing will reduce the coin pool for the mob to a minimum of 1 of each coin type.

Does the coin get reduced to 1 on the first successful pickpocket? Does see invis reveal hidden player rogues? Can rogues pickpocket items too or just coin from mobs?

For the past hour or so now I've been getting a lot of 30 and 40 gold loot drops from mobs in a static camp that usually drop 100 or more gold very consistently and virtually no items dropped. Could a player rogue be stealing from my camp? lol

Yes, see invis works to see players who are sneaking/hiding
Yes, rogues can pick pocket items too

Not sure on the other items ^^

Its kind of random for rogues. say a mob has 30 gold among other coins. He may be unsuccessful on his first try, get 12 gold on the next, 8 on the next ect. until only 1 gold remains. When only 1 of everything remains it'll just show as consistent failures to him.

Rogues can also steal items that (I believe) are not marked as LORE or MAGIC or NO DROP. So gems can be stolen as well as other weird things (Froglok eyes from frogs in guk for example).

See invis does work on rogues, despite their innate hide being different (better) from invis spells.

Oops! I had been working on the concept that pickpocketing was pulling from a separate loot table only accessible via pickpocket.. Ive been stealing the groups copper/silver.. Thank goodness Im only lvl 17 and havent stolen must worthwhile.. I'll ask the group if its OK to PP before I anger someone.

I know on live they changed it to a separate loot table for PP, anyone remember when they did that?

I think it works on Lore items. As long as it's not Magic or No Drop.

I went to permafrost on live and killed the 3 IG by the end. Made a total of 10p or something. So I guess it's possible, but I doubt that its implemented on P99.

You cannot steal gems ... they basically destroyed pick pocket on this server. When I played live back in the day (basically when eq came out), I would be able to get up to 1k pp per night pick pocketing hill giants. Good luck doing that now ... But what do I know .. I only played a rogue.
