![]() Oops I should have posted more. 775 is some ancient ass shit so throwing any more money at that machine is a waste. You'll never get the same bang for your buck trying to upgrade that machine as compared to building a new one. I know that's not what you want to hear, but that is my advice to you.

![]() I'm still rocking a core2duo on 775. Nicer graphics card will be bottle necked by the cpu is the thing. Maybe a nvidia 960? Any decent budget card will be a huge upgrade.

![]() Only upgrade i could suggest on that machine that would net a ton of speed and u could throw in a new machine when u do upgrade is an ssd drive. Anything else your just throwing money away imo. If your really set on upgrading it i see really nice graphics cards for dirt cheap on craiglist, just beware of overclocks...

![]() Another route you can take is to upgrade your motherboard with a pci slot for your old graphics card, but have a pci x16 slot for a new card later. Look for one with a socket for an i5 processor or better. You will also have to upgrade your RAM, but that should be cheap.
If you have built systems in the past or are semi familiar with the do's and dont's of keeping your pc cleaned out, you might try over clocking. If you only open your case once every other year I wouldn't suggest overclocking.
