Default Rowyl's

Rowyl's Metal Armguards - Should be Druid only.

These should be druid only for the life of the server. Clerics + Shamans should only be added to this item in Luclin (IE not on P99).

Once upon a time these used to be druid only. Then VI changed it... That's why people mostly talk about druids wearing them [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I would think a GM should offer to move the vambraces off the cleric/shaman in question and put them on a Druid who was present at the kill.

IMO that would be a fair solution to this issue. But you would have to take it up with nilbog/CSR of course.

And no Pint, not war. This is classic! Druid only vambraces should be Druid only!

Interesting solution i'll give you that. This seems like a pretty tough scenario for staff imo.

Not really I don't think.
  1. Change item
  2. Of the 2-3 on the server that dropped and are on cleric/shamans, they can be relocated to Druids who attending Vulak kills
  3. Guilds can internally refund DKP or scratch away awarded Vulak arms from memory if a merit/loot council system.

They certainly shouldn't be allowed to stay Cleric or Shaman usable just because one or two or three clerics/shamans have won them so far.

Likewise this Shield looks like it should be Cleric / Shaman only until Luclin based on the picture on comments in the thread.

Gonna talk... so shhhh :

First off, this IS the BEST shield in the GAME, and speaking I cant use it. Now for everyone complaining. Im sure that the magority of the complainers are Druids because you are used to getting the 'Preist Items.' This item would be increadably hard to get in the first place... Now look at what you have over the poor 'Real Priests.'

Druids have many restrictions on weapons, but you can use Flachions/Scimitars, so you have more options than them, you also have Ports, which they dont, and better DD spells including your last 2, which totally outdo their best DDs. While you do spend a lot of time buffing and healing, you can very easily Kite things, and you can also Nuke when you get bored. These races spend their whole time Buffing and Healing, if they arnt buffing and healing they are trying to save themselfs from insanity but arnt really helping the group too much... hehe.... In the end, also, Clerics have less HP than you, although Shamans do usually have more and have pets...
We now return to your regularly scheduled programing.

Vulak always drops 3 items, not 4. No variation on that. On our 12th kill I believe and never dropped anything but 3 items.

He's a once a week spawn, as are all the other dragons that are his pets. We haven't done a one-day ToV clearing yet, though it'll probably happen eventually. That's a lot of dragons to down. I'd say the average is 3 days (3 seperate raids, back to back) to clear ToV.

You see a lot of drops because it's been several months since he has first been killed, and a lot of guilds are now catching up.
From that first link too.

Believe the devs already said they weren't changing how many item Vulak dropped.
