Your Greatest Corpse Write-Off

Welp, last night, out of insanity and, I suppose, tiredness, I decided to try my luck spurning the services of Norrath's most able Wizards and run my little behind from Qeynos to Freeport. Everything went off without a hitch until I hit Highpass Hold, and out of insanity thought "Hmm, I wonder if this SoW can carry me swiftly past this army of Gnolls..." I'm not even sure that I needed to run explicitly past them, or if my route was even the right way out, but the point is that I wound-up a meal.

Being, as I said, tired, I decided to simply try my luck with the corpse run the following day, and am now thinking that in any case the bulk of my wealth is in the Qeynos bank, the most valuable items on the corpse being a Robe of the Elements and around 70 platinum, I've decided to simply write off the loss.

I just can't be bothered.

So, in light of this, I'm very interested: What are your most devastating, or at least your most valuable corpse write-offs in your whole Everquest experience?

I also recall a lvl 10 Erudite Shadowknight's corpse who was possessing some pretty fly armor back in classic, 1999 EQ whose corpse I left smoldering down in the catacombs outside Nektulous...
