Default Enchanter Illusion faction bug?

So, I've been told by multiple other enchanters who killed Grobb guards for multiple levels, that Illusion:Troll set them back to dubious. I was skeptical, as I thought the illusions just put you to whatever level that race would be, if they had done the same things you had. i.e. a troll who kills his own guards would eventually hit KoS too.
Of the enchanters I talked to recently to confirm they were still dubious, both of them are agnostic, one is a gnome, and the other a high elf.
I, however, am just barely into threatening now, rather then dubious. I am an agnostic gnome.

So, three enchanters, with the same religion, have had different faction results from doing the same thing. I did notice that casting benevolence would bring me back up to dubious, but I thought the devs might like to know that something is a little buggy with the faction system and illusions, as I had a different result that others.

My character name is same as board name.

For what it's worth I have experienced this exact same thing with illusion: troll in Oggok w/ Kashi (max kos to oggok guards)

I wanted to confirm what Enzie is saying about the Grobb guards.

While I am Max KoS to DaBashers, I will not go lower than dubious while in troll form.

Pretty sure that mask of deception's illusion:dark elf makes it so my bard is never kos is Oggok, Grobb, etc. In Neriak I know I'm definitely not KOS despite being as low as possible with the guards.

Having the illusion set you back to dubious is fine, though I honestly don't remember if that's how it was on live or not. I'm saying that in my case, it didn't do that for some reason. I don't know if there was a rounding error or what, but I had a different result with faction then anyone else that did the same thing.

Factions all around the world need a lot of work, but they're more time consuming and complex to get right than you could imagine. Getting the faction tables for cabilis correct took about 30 hours of dedicated time. Meanwhile, if you see something is wrong and have something to back that up, here's what a faction table looks like now.

There's a lot to factor in. Base, race, class, and deity all add with each other. And whatever that places you at can be modified upward or downward by a maximum of 2000 in either direction. By all means, choose a faction and collect data. If you have a live account, you can get most of it by sending characters of varying class and deity combos at it systematically (2boxing an ench with project illusion helps you skip race). To pin down the exact values, you can find the faction hit that's easiest to reproduce, and repeat it until you've passed one complete faction level to determine the hit value. Shrouds can be used to collect difficult data on a single character and dump faction hits when done. Then, it's a simple system of equations to solve. If you get the data, I can do the math.

I think I mis-communicated my point. Two agnostic, gnome enchanters on this server, both did the same actions, and came up with different faction results regarding 'da bashers' faction. If it were just other races getting different results, I would think maybe the faction table was off, and doing that research might pinpoint the problem. But, instead there's been at least one person with the same class/race/deity that had a different result than me, leading me to believe there's a problem not with the table itself, but how the game keeps track of those faction hits.
Like, let's say I was at -2000 in gnome form, so max kos. For every other enchanter, using troll form, it brings them back up between -699 and -450 (dubious) from max kos. Instead, it's bringing me to the -1049 to -700 range. It's only after benevolence (not alliance, not strong enough to change my level), that I get into dubious again while in troll form. No other enchanter i've talked to has to cast benevolence to be into dubious, they are into dubious with troll form alone.

Either I somehow went past max kos, or illusion faction changes (possibly just troll form itself) are not being applied uniformly across the board to all characters (or I'm simply bugged somehow).
