Default Starbucks Cracking Down on Freshbrew Fanbase

Overpriced, poorly prepared beverage colossus Starbucks has had it with frequent fliers. With the roll-out of their new rewards program there is no question, Starbucks seeks to undermine the hallowed fabric of customer loyalty rewards programs. They are sending a message loud and clear to regular small time purchasers: your business is not valued and we do not want you constipating our queues for overpriced drinks with your low dollar purchases.

I for one am shocked, SHOCKED, that a company famous worldwide for marketing their 4000% markup on $0.10 worth of beans, sugar, and water as a must-have beverage would stoop so low as to squeeze a few more dollars out of the financially illiterate trogs that purchase their liquid crap.

They dodged a huge tax bill in the UK through crafty accounting... while the government here continues to tighten the screw on the rest of us.

I use to go there now and then, but long since left their establishment with no plans to go back.

My internet was down, so went to SB to grab some coffee and make use of their internet. One other customer in there, I'm the only one using their wi-fi and spent about 10 bucks on overpriced specialties (just keep the mocha lattes coming). Then I heard the zit faced teenage bean pusher there from around the hallway in the back literally whining whiiiining "but he's using all the internet!!!" and a moment later my linux laptop went off-line.

I about chucked my coffee down the friggen hall. So gave him a mean look as I slapped my laptop closed, and let them watch me walk across to Del Taco where the wi-fi is a little slower, but the coffee is cheap and they don't have time to sit around complaining about customers hogging up all their precious wi-fi [You must be logged in to view images.
