Default New Forum Section

Would everyone agree that since global OOC has been disabled, there should be some other way to find groups? I recall there being a /lfg channel or something?

Maybe there can be a new forum section strictly for those LFG?

i think moreso promoting the use of /lfg while not /role or /anon would be easier and more beneficial.

Alot of the time people who go lfg, have no intention of being the one to try and form the group up. They just want someone else to do the work and for them to show up [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Step up to the plate and be the one to /who all <level range your looking for> LFG, and shoot some tells about asking if they'd wanna form a group somewhere, get some camp checks done etc.

It's not that hard to form a group.

This is already built into the game. One you are in a zone just type /who lfg and this will show you who is looking for a group. If you type /lfg on this will put you in that mode as well. A channel would be unnecessary, but it would be nice if the LFG tool did work. Remember though that this is classic. Also, it helps to use /ooc channel to say you are looking for a group as well.

All the LFG tool did was give you a menu to show the people sitting on their humps waiting for a magical group to come along and sweep them up... it doesn't change anything, just dresses up the turd.
