EQ Landmark Shutting Down in Feb

Saw this one coming.. how about next time (if there is a next time) u make an updated version of eq1 and call it eq3 instead of trying to make minecraft. such a terrible failure of a game.. pretty sure there were only like 10 mobs or something pathetic like that. what are ur thoughts

I wonder what they were thinking when they shut down eq next but kept landmark. That people somehow see that as its own game now? Well, some did i suppose. But it was easy to see that this was just the die hard builders.

I remember getting an invite for like 2 weeks to this back years ago when it was in beta. It actually was a pretty good builder game if you were into just that. Could definitely make some pretty cool stuff I remember.

I don't think gamers have ever been so screwed in terms of buying into a project and them pulling the plug.

Its been pretty clear theyre just milking cash out of what they have. Look at h1z1 still in alpha and buggy af but all they add is micro transactions lol
