Vacto Molunel Scarab Breastplate and Boots issue...

Hey! First, so excited to be playing EQ at its prime! This is AWESOME!!!

First, turned in the 2 legs, cracked carapace, and 17 gold, but Vacto just took everything and gave me nothing...

Second, turned in the pristine and 23 gold, got the breastplate... Why is the bp only 8ac -1 dex +1 sta ?

It shows everywhere that it should have better stats. And any tips on not having my stuff taken from an NPC because I turned in the stuff somehow wrong or something. was it because I turned in the legs first rather than the cracked carapace? makes no sense, at minimum I should get my stuff back? I know NPCs take things but I think that should get changed if possible.

Never stack anything you hand in. So two legs means each leg would need to go in a separate slot.

It was bumped up at whatever point in EQ history but was reverted back to classic by the devs.

This fell through the cracks should have been buffed already was changed circa May 2001. Off to the bug forums I guess.
