![]() I'm looking to do some analysis on a few different things - i've found a couple different parsing programs but wanted to save myself some time.
Does anyone have a particular program they recommend for p99?

![]() I've always used an external log parser called YALP (Yet Another Log Parser). I remember a lot of people using Eqcompanion back in the day as well. Now a days I think there are a bunch of new fangled ones that will allow you to spit out dps information through your client and into the games chat channels. I haven't messed around with those yet.

![]() Thanks! So does YALP give you the info in-game as you're dealing damage, or is it something you pull the text file into somehow?

![]() It's something you load the text file into and it parses it for you. I don't have any experience with in-game eq parsers. The only one I've really heard much about is Gamparse, but haven't looked into it.

![]() Gamparse was the one I was looking at, since I would love to see live info, and it was recommended by a few sites.
I'll try it first and let you know how it goes. If it fails, i'll see how YALP suits my needs...

![]() quick question: can you use a parcer to get pets dmg recorder? i am an enchanter and when i stand near my pet i somehow never see any of its dmg on my chat, and ive got the settings right, so its just difficult to see sometimes (plus i cant get too close).

![]() Heh, Gamma was an officer in the old raiding guild I ran on live. Used our raids to develop it. It's about the best parser that I know of.
