Kelethin Banker KoS?

I thought bankers weren't supposed to be KoS, but my Erudite SK is fine with the kelethin guards now (after countless dead orcs [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]) but the banker seems to murder me every time i go close. I've played a DE Necro and gone into lots of "good" banks before and never had a problem, even if the guards were KoS w me.

any thoughts?

Hmmm, all I can tell you is I have a Erudite SK that is able to roam freely past all Freeport guards and in to the bank with practically no faction work.
(Unless something changed recently, haven't logged that toon on in ages. Doubt changes were made.)

Not sure what faction that elf banker is on.

Regren's Quest (Kelethin)

Emerald Warriors (Felwhite and Kelethin guards, Kelethin Warriors)
Kelethin Merchants (includes the banker)
Merchants of Felwhite (does not include the bankers - those were already indifferent)

If you have fixed your factions with the emerald warriors, go see Regren, the warrior guildmaster.

He asks for a ruined wolf pelt. a bat fur, a bone chip and a spiderling eye.

I did it about 350 times to get to dubious with the Kelethin banker. Expect it to be some long work.

Bat furs are found on a merchant in EC, the gypsie in the inn near the zone to WC. Ruined wolf pelts and spiderling eyes usually flood the EC and Steamfont merchants. Bonechips are everywhere.

You say, 'I will hunt for meat.'

Gallin Woodwind says 'Good!! We have enough young warriors hunting in our woods. Your duty shall be to take this pack to the ocean and seek out sharks. Fill the bag with shark meat and combine it. I shall reward you with a fine piercing weapon.'

You receive a Pack for Shark.

Combine 4 Shark Meat in Pack for Shark to create Pack of Meat.

Hand Gallin Woodwind the Pack of Meat.

Shark Meat is probably the best route...I seem to remember there was a way of farming this really effectively, but it eludes me now. If it comes to me, i'll post it.

My Dark Elf Wizard on live was kos to the banker but not the guards. Kind of miffed me that I spent all that time in Crushbone and couldn't bank or use the vendors =P

Kelethin banker is on Merchants of Kelethin faction.
Felwithe banker is on banker faction.

This is consistent with classic.

Perhaps you are thinking of the time where Thurgadin sold unlimited shark meat? That was pretty effective.

being that staying ill be leaving CB at 14 or so anyways, is it even worth it to get all that faction done instead of just jammin through CB and then bouncin? i prob wont be back in Kelethin anyways after i leave CB

It's probably not worth your time. But if you really wanted to, this is how you would accomplish it.
