Default The real Value of DEX

I mean EverQuest is 20 years old and we still discover new thing about the game and it is what make it awesome.

I want to talk about DEX.

From WIKI

Affects: Concentration (resistance to spell interrupts), Bard Song missed notes; Melee skill-ups, Procs, Crits (allegedly).
Max (cap): 255 (?)
Brad McQuaid: "DEX: how quickly you learn weapon skills; how often weapon will proc; how quickly you learn rogue skills; how hard you hit with bows"[4]
"This determines how hard you hit with your bows, how quickly you learn weapon and rogue skills, and how often a magic weapon will process it's skill. This is a good skill to have for fighters, especially rangers and rogues, and of only limited use for magic users.

I did LOT of testing , BASED on my research DEX affect your chance to hit the target and not miss it.

It dosent take rocket science to test.

Start a lvl 1 with 80 DEX and fight a HIGH AGI mob ( a bat) bat has high agi its perfect mob to test.

I did my testing on 10 bat in front of kaladim.

10 bat with 80 DEX at level 1 (tons of miss)

10 bat with 200 dex at level 1 ( about no miss)

ONLY dex has been increase with shaman buff and boon of the garou (work on lvl 1) from enc so AL STATS were the same.

I wanted to share , even if people will say the contrary to what im saying ,

go test it on a lvl 1 all i can say.

End of story :

Dex affect your chance to hit the target.
