Troll war shud never kick?

As a dual wielding troll war in the 50s, is there any reason for me to use kick instead of slam?

Kick-stun at 55, but why use it when slam can stun and has a higher skill cap?

I plan to remove kick from my hotkeys, but there is times where I get boon and cannot slam...
