Default For those who care about WiiWare

Nintendo shutting down Wii Shop Channel in 2019 -
cannot add Shop Points after March 26 2018:

"While Nintendo won’t take the Wii Shop Channel offline until January 30, 2019, the real end date of WiiWare is coming up much sooner—March 26, 2018. That’s the date that Nintendo will stop allowing you to add Wii Points to your console. Since Wii Points are the only method by which you can purchase more games, that means you won’t be able to buy any of these games after that date. Unless, of course, you’ve got a pile of unspent points in your account."

I was a hack/mod wii user so never spent any moneyz on it, but recently got a pristine stock version of a Wii and got a bunch of the best WiiWare games on it. Heres what I got(My suggestion of good Wiiware games, most are exclusive on Wii Shop)

Cave Story (Can get it free online but the Wii edition was the first console version)
LIT
NyxQuest (Ported to PC later on)
Mega Man 9 (First released on Wii)
Mega Man 10
La-Mulana
Excitebike World Tournament
Contra Rebirth
Gradius Rebirth
Castlevania Rebirth
Art Style games
Mr. Driller W
Motoheroz
Blastermaster Overdrive
Bomberman Blast
Zombie Panic in Wonderland
Retro City Rampage
Alien Crush Returns
Maboshi
World of Goo(ported everywhere but got its start on WiiWare)
Fluidity(Hydroventure in EU)
Chick Chick BOOM
You Me and the Cubes
Rage of the Gladiator
Bonsai Barber
Final Fantasy My life as a King
Tetris Party

Other good games which I didnt get yet are, Jet Rocket(Galaxy clone), Fast Racing League(got two sequels so far) and Wild West Guns(shooting gallery game)

You enjoy WiiWare?, let me know if I forgot to get any essentials!

Edit: I am not sure what VC games are available on eShop WiiU but I also got a few VC games just to be sure like Ogre Battle 64 and
Sin and Punishment(Jap release N64)
