Default Offline cleric rezzing?

Is it possible to rez someone who is offline and the box would be there when they log in? or do they need to be online upon cast? Was thinking about starting a cleric alt for rezzing my main and maybe parking him outside wherever I was leveling for my own rezzes. I know you can consent your offline rogue alt and drag your own corpse, so I was wondering if rez worked the same way.

What you can do is start a cleric on a different account, and then get a friend to log that cleric in whenever you need a rez. That's totally legit, and I used to do it with a friend before he stopped playing here. You most definitely can not rez yourself though.

As a side note, you also could make up a wife/girlfriend who plays EQ, apply for an IP exemption, logon to your cleric yourself when you need a rez, rez yourself .... and then get both accounts banned from the server forever for cheating. For obvious reasons I would recommend against that option.

I might just roll one as a service to the group, kinda nice to have a cleric even if you can't directly benefit. Account sharing has no recourse if someone goes squirly on you and they steal it right? I already had my cleric and soon to be ranger rolled on another account with plans to share for raids, but life changed and every time I've come back from burnout my friendlist has been 100% MIA. And yeah, not a boxer was just wondering if it was possible to rez yourself as lazily as it is CR with an alt (which it apparently is not, RIP).

Unless... you're all part of the cleric mafia keeping the racket going. We'll see.
