One of the first movies to portray the now classical trope of Post Apocaliptic Earth, with the "Norms" , the "Mutates" and the "River Men" factions, all fighting for women in postapocaliptic New York. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Love the classics, and this movie is indeed quite original for its time in some of its concepts.

P.S. If everyone was armed drilled and military minded and not busy having fun at that dinner party, they'd have been situationally aware and been able to defend themselves.

Lol I kinda thought the same when watching the movie. In a post apocalyptic world everyone being so lax having so many raids on your property and women is kinda naive haha.

I finished watching it. I felt like the mutates were supposed to represent the Israelites. Up river men were Muslims. And norms the idyllic yet godless commies.

Also I'm glad that dumb bitch stumbled on a tripewire.
