Default Classic Bug: Forming groups with more than 6 members

I did some searching on forums here and didn't see anything to this specific bug... It seems old P99 group bugs dealt with people not being able to join or rejoin groups.

Anywho... It would appear it was classic to be able to form groups with more than 6 people. Steps to recreate it are clearly laid out:

Warning. This may be considered an exploit, so use it at your own risk. It is possible to have a group larger than 6 people that still shares experience for a kill. To do this start with a group of 5. Then have someone outside the group invite the other non party members to form their own group. They should hold off on accepting the invite (don't decline either). Then invite the person who just did that invite to join the first group. After he accepts, and is added to the group, the other people he invited should accept his group invitation. They will now be part of the overall group, but will not appear on the main group's member list. They will share xp for the kills and can make (but not hear) group tells. When a party member above them leaves, they will move up onto the list.
I know p99 has recreated several other bugs from classic era such as spell gem global refresh (which is a very powerful bug), but this particular bug i don't see a lot of harm in it.

Raids could form without the coveted "exp group", or pugs could just take another person or two. Adventure across Norrath without having to choose between only 5 of your friends!

Let's be honest, a big P99 meta is to duo for best min / max gains. This bug may just encourage more community among friends.

Please consider it!

P.S. i would not consider this an exploit per the OP. It is making people earn less experience really.

Edit: i just thought of one powerful effect: group spells. Would propose group only spells be limited to the 6 visible members on the list.
