I had to pull a gun on someone this morning

Someone wouldn't stop ringing my doorbell at 4am this morning.

The movie "The Strangers" played in my head.

Dog wouldn't stop barking.

Grabbed my low-quality 9mm (that would probably jam tbh)

Snuck around my house as this dude continued to ring my doorbell to see if I could get a better look.

Couldn't see anything.

I nutted up, cocked my gun, planted my leg next to the door so I could open it only an inch and stuck the barrel out the door.

"WHO THE FUCK IS IT?!"

It was the neighborhood crackhead asking for $3.

Three dollars.

Couldn't fall back to sleep because of adrenalin.

Went to work early feeling like a bad ass.

I'm telling you because everyone else is tired of hearing me brag.

If you ring my doorbell in the middle of the night, you don't have good intentions.

I'm not very trusting, so I never let my guard down in those situations. No one sneaks up on me.

And I was obviously brave enough to open my door. Because I did.

If the events happened as you described them, what you did is actually illegal in the state of Florida and you can go to prison for it

It does not matter if it was on your property
