Has a second boxing server ever been proposed/considered?

I for one dont really have the time anymore to sink 2 hours into finding a good group in kunark, and then spending 6-8 hours to make that group worth it. I also like the challenge of playing multiple chars (without the use of MQ of course). Was a server with 2-3 chars per person ever proposed, considered or denied at any point?

As nice as it would be to be able to box since I have access to a druid and could easily powerlevel my weak stupid butt out of the 30's - I am glad there is no boxing allowed on this server. It forces people to interact with others and think of all of the camps that would be on lockdown with people boxing and power leveling.

There are other servers that allow boxing, infact 99% of the others allow it.


P99, however, will not. This server is our main goal, releasing another one just to allow boxing takes time money and resources we could be using on furthing our own main goal.

Maybe one day Rogean and nilbog might consider it, but i would not count on it for a long time.

It has and the devs have smartly decided to not go that route. They wanted a community, a game filled with 1 toon and 1 player. From my experience having 2 and 3 toons per person, forget getting a camp at that point. With 1 player/1 toon, you are forced to be productive and respectful. Well, not forced. There are lots of places to solo and lots of solo classes.

I do however, feel your pain. It can be difficult to find a good group but you can also help people that you group with get better. Not by being mean but by being supportive and helpful. To just sit in a bad group and do nothing or to see people making the same mistakes over and over without saying anything...

I still fail to see how 2 boxing is disallowed but selling accounts for platinum is allowed.
