/assist and /pet attack do not work in Kedge Keep.

Yes they do, but it is buggy.
You have to be almost in melee range WHEN you target the mob, or it will not allow you to interact with it. Assist WILL work if you are CLOSE to the mob you're trying to assist on when you use it. I actually do not know if pet attack works or not, but I have a sneaking suspicion that you didn't target the mob when you were close enough, and therefore no interaction with the mob was possible. Try targetting the mob while you're close, then hitting pet attack.

This *is* a bug, but it's a little better and more complicated than "skills dont work."

Aye hasbin summed it up here, pet attack will work but only when the mob is targetted from melee range (once you have the target you can then swim further away).
