Game Mechanics: Lighting stuck in day mode

Camped out during the day, logged back in at night (10PM) and while my light source is working locally, the ground as far as I can see is lit, whilst the various objects (trees, buildings, NPCs, etc) are darkened but clearly visible. Tried to grab some screenshots (attached).

Weird, it just fixed itself. I didn't log or zone but all of a sudden the world got darker. It's not pitch black like it was during previous nights though.

Ah, I came across another report where it's the nightime rain causing it. As you can see in my above screenshots, it was indeed raining. So, this appears to be a known issue; please disregard.
