Default AFK Leveling - The Final Word

I have heard both sides...some say AFK leveling is bannable, some say it's not.

What I do know is that in classic EQ, it was fully allowed. Developers made changes to make it more difficult, but I was actually told by a GM back then that since it does not exploit any sort of bug, it's not something you get disciplined for.

This doesn't impact me since I play an SK, but I do want to know for certain what the issue is here. That being said, can an admin of some kind PLEASE post in this forum with a definitive answer so the OOC arguments can be laid to rest?

I'm pretty sure there is a listing of the rules somewhere. So go find em!

It's not addressed in the rules...maybe you should go find 'em!

The rules say that it's frowned upon. GMs have posted in the big thread about it that it could potentially get your banned.
