Default Blank Screen after Server Select

I just finished getting Titanium downloaded and installed and got to the server select screen, picked p. 1999 and got stuck on a black screen. Any idea what could be causing this and what a quick fix is? Thanks in advance.

Did you update all of the requested files (Includes Lavastorm, Nektulos, your spell files)? Are you trying to run in full screen? Are you using WinEQ2?

I updated all the files and the game is loading in what looks like a window, also not using WinEQ2.

Are you getting just a black screen with a gametype mouse cursor?
If so you need to drop your desktop resolution then restart the game and it should work fine. I believe that once you set your ingame resolution to what you want you can then go back and reset your desktop.

I had the same problem. You generally have to fiddle with whatever resolution settings you can through the game options, eqconfig.ini file, shortcut properties, and in game menu (once you can get to it).

It's kind of a pain in the ass but you'll eventually get it just right. I suggest running the game in forced 640x480 resolution with XP compatability turned on (if running vista) and then changing the resolution to your native resolution in the eqconfig.ini file within the folder. That's the only way I could reliably set my resolution with a 1366x768 widescreen and vista.
