Server load?

I know last night the server was over 530 people online. I was just wondering what the capacity of the server was? I know there was some lag in Oasis arounf 11pm EST last nightj, causing at least 3 of my groupmates to lag out and DC.

Also, does more people make the 180$ a month more, or is that the constant rate for the server?

Not sure exactly what the capacity is, but I'm sure it could go up to 600 or so. As far as the rate goes, I haven't a clue. Need an Admin to answer that one.

It has been stated the server could comfortably handle ~1000 players.

We're already running two physical servers, a little more than $180 but donations have kept up so it's fine.

Well if the server could hold up to 1k that would be great. Because I am anticipating that the server will become very popular soon, especially how SoD (imo) is beginning to fail.
