Default Hotkeys and friends list
I lost all of the hotkeys I had created and even my friends list is emptied in this server merge. Is there any way to get these back? or am I just going to have to try and remember everything and hope for the best?

All those settings are kept in character-specific (and, crucially, server-specific) .ini files, eg:

Loramin_project1999.ini (Blue)

Loramin_P1999Green.ini

If your settings were in a Loramin_P1999Teal.ini file, then in theory (back everything up first) renaming it to Loramin_P1999Green.ini should fix things (after you do a fresh login).

I had already changed them all over to green last night. I logged in today and all of the windows are correct but the hotkeys and friends list are wiped.

Sorry, sounds like your out of luck. You might want to try a multi-file text search (eg. using the command-line grep tool, if you're on Linux/Mac) to look for one of your friend's names, to see if maybe they're still present in some other file (those files aren't in any special computer code or anything; a friends list entry in them is just "Friend0=*NULL*").

But if not, it seems they're truly lost, as the server has no awareness of friends lists whatsoever (that I know of): they're purely kept client-side.

Sounds like you got the file that starts with UI copied correctly but not the other? There are two INI files per character. If you are not exact the game will just make a new one with empty hotkeys/friends.

I know you can eliminate the "who" but what's the 4th character? There's still a space after the / or can you shorten friends or all?
