they simply already digested all the barbarian meat they ate, and there have been no new barbarians spawning to be eaten...
the spiders themselves will eventually go extinct too, due to lack of food... get ready for that and stockpile on spider silk today! | ||

I blame the vengeful soloists. It's pretty obvious that they're the real problem here. Killing all of those newbie Barbarians and feasting on their still warm flesh.
I always knew that those bastards were up to no good.
