What do you think of speeding up the spawn rate by x4 for raid mobs, long spawn quest mobs etc?
Example: 7 day spawn = 168 hours -> 42 hours 5 day spawn = 120 hours -> 30 hours 3 day spawn = 72 hours -> 18 hours 1 day spawn = 24 hours -> 6 hours 8 hour spawn -> 2 hours 16 hour window (+/- 8) -> 4 hour window (+/- 2) And so on Exemption: planar trash mobs, vox and naggy lair 8 hour spawn mobs | ||

Nah I'd do the opposite. Seven day spawns now pop once per month with a seven day +/- window. Increase all of it by 4x, not decrease. Let's see who the real hardcore bastards are.

Let's not increase it 4x, please. Remember that our real life time has value. Shortening them a bit I think would be fair for us players (I include everyone) who may have been playing since release and have already put up with these times for many years.
I remember staying up to ungodly hours with responsibilities the next morning just to check a spawn, or of missing sleep altogether because you can't miss the rare raid window and your life must now work around the game. I get that classic EQ is hard (I prefer it to all the easy styles of games we have now) but a little ease off of players' burdens would go a long way for morale. | ||
