Default No spell graphics from hands

I was wondering whether anyone knew a fix to this issue. I've had this ever since I started playing EQemu.

I have the old spell graphics set up, but the graphics are messed up in the fact that, for example, when casting sow I only see the part of the spell where the particle effects from the top of the player, and not the part where they come from the players hand. Likewise, when casting a buff spell such as thorn, I won't see any of the casting involved, but I will see the particle effects that are applied when the buff actually hits the person. Also for things such as sow, the particle effects that hit when the buff is applied to someone dont come out from the persons neck area like they did in classic, instead they are on the ground. This happens with every spell, but the main thing is no spells have hand graphics.

I've reinstalled EQ titanium many times to try and fix, but I'm in Germany for the next 2 months and I won't be able to reinstall (if that's needed) until I get back to the US.

Also, I've downloaded the getting started files, etc. from P99s homepage obviously.

Does anyone have/ did have this problem? If anyone knows how to fix this while keeping classic sepll graphics it would be much appreciated. I actually thought this was a problem for everyone on EQemu until my friend told me recently he has no problems with his classic spell graphics.
