Haven't Played today, getting active character error when logging in

I haven't played yet today, but I am receiving message when trying to log in.

Error 1018: You currently have an active character on that Everquest Server, please allow a minute for synchronization and try again.

It has been happening for about 10 min now.

I didn't know where to post this

Playing on Blue for about a month now
