![]() Sure, we've had no shortage of non-classic bugs. Some however, it seemed were almost implemented on purpose. Baton of Flames was one such minor cases, it seemed like it'd never be fixed.
Though things like Baton of Flame were reported many times, including by myself, we eventually came to accept it as the vision, which I am fine with. But then came Tunare. Tunare is a stark anomaly in this game. Not only did we never get any of the versions of her classic fights (non-rooted, only dropped robes) despite mountains of evidence, it skipped straight to the pre-Luclin implementation, with her weapons dropping in their post-revamp form (though not in their post-post revamp form), from the patch just before Luclin. The Fist shouldn't have existed at all, nor the Eashen fist. Most high end 2H, especially Flamberge and Vulak 2H were buffed a LOT. We never had the original versions here. To go even further, basically ALL nToV loot was revamped not long into Velious. However, I've heard this is now implemented into Green, so that's awesome. As someone who had one of the first Tunare Flamberge's in the entirety of classic EQ, and remembers the day it was changed to be slightly less bad (aka - what it is today on p99) It was always quite the mystery to me how we chose to implement it here. Anecdotes are worthless. Yeah, I get it. But I know I wasn't the only one there back then. But the 2H/fist patch right before Luclin is not exactly a mystery. Despite all this, I still can't remember or find the old Flamberge stats, despite having one myself. I do remember it was still a lot better than pre-buffed 2h primals, but worse than vulak axe, in terms of ratio. I suppose this wouldn't apply on blue anymoe, but it would for green. Does anyone have any recollection or info about the deets? This is one of the last remaining major classic raid bugs. (in terms of content)
