Default Safest travel from EC cabilis

So im a level 10 necro and have some items I need to get to a character I have in cabilis. From the looks of it porting to DL and walking there seems to be the easiest way. Would this be safe enough with gather shadows? What about taking the boat from oasis to OT? It sounds like having to run through FV is too dangerous even with invis. Any suggestions?

With SoW and your invis it should be ok as long as you know which mobs see invis (drachnids etc). Boat from Oasis to OT is the your best bet, I use this for looking up zone connections when I run about the world http://www.eqclassic.de/EQAtlas/

Or get a DMF and SoW and run to the firepots in TD, having taken the raft from Oasis. On the open water, TD's basically the safest zone in Kunark.

Click the right firepot, and boom, you're in West Cabilis.

Oasis > TD > OT > Warsliks > Cab would be the safest route. DL & FV have see-invis casters which are just nasty even if you have SoW but can be done if you know where you're going well and have levitate.

Edit: Or the firepots as Minister suggested... that'd be super safe.

Either you can get the Necro ported to WC, run to EC, xfer, then gate back to Cabilis. Or something vice versa.

Either way, drop Darkwolfe a line, be happy to port ya, escort ya and help ya out however ya need [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

The simplest way is find someone who is bound at the Firepots to do the transfer for you.

Go firepots ... I really would'nt try the run with SoW/invis at level 10, you're just asking for heartache.

I took my 13 mage on the boat to FV, ran through the zone invis (just /con any drachnids you see, the ones that see invis will be scowling instead of indifferent) then ran through Swamp of No Hope to Field of Bone. The longest part of the trip was waiting on boats. After a few levels I ran right through Cabilis and Lake of Ill Omen (invis of course) to get back to FV to sell and bank, so I know that works too.
