Default Kunark Monks: The All/All class

I found this blast from the past while searching for Kunark monk itemization. It made me crack up.

Anyone remember being a monk in vanilla/kunark? What were some of the wishlist items? Crescent legs were the only decent piece from Dalnir. And of course the Fungi.

Velious was the ALL/ALL Expansion. NToV loot galore was all/all.

Kunark Stuff included, Twig, RFS, TStaff, Fungi, Grey Suede, Trorsmang, Guardian mace, Anklesmasher.

That's the truth. I found it interesting that the author of that article chose a FOH monk to illustrate the point, without looking at the other classes in FOH. Pretty much anyone that spent alot of time in NTOV was geared up in, at very least, non-class-specific loot.

The class specific stuff in Velious was just the jumping off point.

Silver Charm of Tranq, Silver Bracelet, Firestorm, Dragon Tooth, Nev's Cloak, Vulak Arms, Neck, boots, Velocity, SOD, Primal Hammer, Immortal Cowl, good gawd my mouth is watering.

Class specific stuff: Barb legs, Immortal Robe, FOL/FON...? My memory is slacking today. Damn you effexor!

Did Trorsmang ever actually drop on live servers? I had heard that it dropped once from Trakanon on test, and then they removed it from his loot table. I wasn't ever really uber enough to raid him at the time, but I was happy enough to spin people around with my tstaff.

Also, as I recall, the excuse they gave for not giving monks a set of armor on par with other classes in Kunark was that monk avoidance was so awesome that giving them a nice set of armor would overpower them.

We had 2 Trorsmang's, it dropped. I think it was in error on Trak's loot and fixed a couple hours after he was killed the first time. Pretty sure Tror came from VP.
