Default Is the Immolate spell borked on blue?

Was intending to combine it with Stinging Swarm on my 49 Ranger to stack some decent damage over time with my melee, but at least on Geodes, it doesn't seem to do any damage, and they're not resisting it according to my combat logs.

Later planned to combine it with Drones of Doom as well, but if it doesn't work...

I just came here to discuss this. This is by far the single most important spell in the game for druids from like 30-45, if not higher. I just hit 29 on my druid and i feel lost. Not sure how to proceed with this broken spell.

Hard to overstate the importance of this spell to my druid, who hit 29 tonight. This spell doing 0 dmg is just heartbreaking. It takes away one of the key if not the single key solo tactic. Blue being so solo-oriented for low levels, I am kind of lost without this spell. A quick fix would be sincerely appreciated.

Well, that stinks. That was the one spell I was really looking forward to at 49, a much better DoT to combine with Stinging Swarm to up my DPS, maybe even make Root Rotting an option.

Nope. Guess it's still Flame Lick and suffer until Drones of Doom.

druids can very efficiently solo from like 14-30s charming animals then move on to quadding

I'd rather do it by root rotting.

I guess that means use Combust instead of Immolate?

Using a dd is unfortunately more likely to cause root to break. Ideally, the devs would push the long-awaited patch that fixes this amongst numerous other minor issues.
