Enchanter or Mage, which levels faster?

I know that pre-Kunark Mage's were one of if not the best / fastest / most efficient levelers in the game. Ive been gone for a while now so I don't really know what changes happened to them exactly, but I've heard people say that they got nerfed really bad and there nothing compared to what they used to be. So I was wondering, what are they like now? How bad did they get nerfed, and did are they still the best solo levelers in the game? Do groups want them for anything?

Also I was kind of curious about Enchanters too, I figured if Mage isn't what it used to be and is pretty bad now then maybe Ill try giving Enchanter a shot. I've heard there very hard to play, and can only really solo if there twinked but can level quickly if they are?
