Default DIY 2.0

I couldn't find any constructive threads about this idea.
I know this community has a reputation for being toxic or w/e
Who knows if this could actually ever work here. But hear me out...

Pick a date for a community enforced classic launch.
Pick two more dates for kunark / velious.
No twinking or high levels griefing - a clean start for everyone on red99
The easiest way to put it is do the whole server "Auld Lang Syne" style.

Old school red99ers have all the power to log a geared 60 and gank anyone who is lame enough to go against this and keep red dead af forever.
For every griefer there could be an army of vigilantes to show up and shut them down.
Hopefully this could bring enough fresh blood for when DIY 2.0 catches up to have a solid enough population to have multiple guilds contesting raid targets.

I have seen the 652736582652 posts of everyone's "disappointment."
I missed the glory of red's launch and want a fresh start as much as all of you.

However, lets be real. It doesn't look like that's happenin boyz.
I don't think people want a fresh red for the legacy items.
They want it for the excitement of an even playing field,
and warm bodies to fill ranks as either friend or foe.

Norrath is a barren sandbox.
EQ is only as good as its community.
A new red could be here tomorrow if you all wanted it.
Waiting on Rogean to hook up a fresh box is just going to keep the disappointment rolling. Who knows if he could even do it if he wanted to.
