My first experience here was wild too. Lvl 5 I manage to meet my first player, a friendly Druid named Beck. He’s gonna buff me up so I can power level. I hadn’t played this game in a decade. He’s gotta med first and group for buffs. Woooosh

Next thing I know I’m in the karanas wondering wtf when beck chimes in with /shout PURGE THIS FOUL ELF!!

I’m a dark elf, the druids killed me and I never got my body back but I knew this was the place for me. Enjoyed many years after that first day.

I got to about level 15. There was a twinked out rogue (Fungi and the likes) griefing untwinked players in unrest. It felt a lot like an able bodied dude playing wheel chair basketball, but at least he wasn't shooting up his high school I guess.

Did Mrbigs pass? I believe he used to spar with me frequently when I was doing the BatsnBugfast Hotel.

He was never a dick about it - just enjoyed the pvp. He was nice to chat with and would help me out if I got in too much trouble. How a pvp player should be.
