Arrow Ranger DPS

tentative post here:

ive managed to get every top tier armorpiece and weapon in classic and still do "ok" damage compared to mediocre equiped monks and rogues in raids according to my parses

since i dont have exact numbers serverside i thought to point this issue out here

i would appreciate more indeep information of a dev about the current dps status of rangers

thanks!

I've never found there to be an issue with DPS even in reference to boss mobs and sky mobs. On my parses I'd sometimes outdo rogues and monks (efreeti war spear backstabs, WTFs and not to mention 100% kick accuracy) so I'm not quite sure where you're coming from. A few people actually did parses for a few classes and looked into what affects the damage tables... seemed pretty on par with what was expected from item descriptions and the era's expectations for hybrid melees.

Considering rangers were always told to go DT due to their paltry DPS, I'm fairly certain that a top-end raidequipped ranger is pretty much where they should be in classic. Not bad, not good.

What weapons combo are you using?
What is your ATK at?
What is your STR at?
