Kaladim Banker(s?) Faction

Posting a question with an assumption -- that the bankers are the same faction as the merchants.

can any dev confirm or deny whether Kaladim Bankers are Merchants of Kaladim or if they are on some completely bizarre unchangeable faction? (if so what is this rogue faction of bankers)

(dubious to apprehensive around merchants, SCOWLS in the bank wtf)
