Default Non-classic armor tints

I've noticed some of the armor colors on this server don't seem to match classic.

The most obvious one is bronze - it's really yellowish on p99 but was more orange on live.

It's pretty hard to find very old screenshots but here are some I found:

http://common.allakhazam.com/images/...0d9291d354.png (luclin model but the tint is the same)

http://www.hostile.org/eq/fashion/fashion18.jpg (classic model, vambraces only)

Another one I noticed was Ethereal mist armor being a paler shade than the deep purple it was on live.

I'm sure a lot of people don't care about this at all, but a way to make p1999 just a little more classic.

Has anyone else noticed the tints being off?

it has to do with the newer models being turned off or something or other. unfortunately they can't fix it.

In the orb in front of Sebilis, my Ethereal Mist armor is a hot-pink. If I zone in it looks like a light, pastel violet. In darker areas the armor becomes matte dark purple, and loses the pretty juicy violet shimmer in brighter areas. I attributed the color change to it being a lightish colored armor. I like it the way it is, but I'm curious to see if it were different on Live.

It's because P99 uses low-wattage CFL lighting that lacks a full color spectrum where we had traditional incandescent bulbs back in Classic.

ROFL....But seriously we should be using these if we want a clean and healthy Norrathian environment.
