Just wanted to bump this topic, experienced the same thing last night--mobs hp updating very strangely (i.e. I'd get a mob down to 20%, have to zone, come back in; the mob still says 20% hp; once I fight it again for a while it displays it's correct hp).

Also the issue with assist range-

You will only get hp updates/be able to send in a pet by targeting or /targeting the mob while nearly directly under it.

Once you get a good one tho, it'll stick and work as normal till you change it.

It's one of those long standing bugs. Kedge is and was always buggy .. also was on live. Not unique to P99 or eqemu, tho it IS worse on eqemu since there is pretty much no code for pathing and other stuff in the zone.

It's the same problem when killing phinny .. have to be in melee range to send pet in on him, or ... just let him whack you, and as soon as you move out of melee range hp bar stops updating.

You can get updates by switching back and forth target and yourself, but its not always working
