Default Necro in kaesora

Hey! My necro is 37 and I thought I should give kaesora a try. Read some other threads recommending the library for this level range. Any recommendations on how to get there without dying to the spiders? I’ve tried yoloing pass them, split and kill but it always ends up with me gating. I don’t have any way of levitating myself so I assume the left way from end is the only option?

I could bring my ench over to lull and whatnot but would be nice to be able to do it properly.

Maybe you can bum a Levi or DMF from someone else and rush back to Kaesora.

You're using Harmshield to YOLO, right? Could be risky, though. Make sure to /q after you successfully FD, rather than just standing up. Once you pass the level 35 mark, mobs don't always forget you until they reset.

I would pick up two https://wiki.project1999.com/Vial_of_Roiling_Gas, keeping one on a recharge mule and carrying the other. They're cheap, rechargeable, and instant cast.

Then you can take the left side from the entrance down the hole and fight/paci your way to the library.

Cheers! Didn’t think about harmshield on my first attempt but will definitely do that. I would still need to pass the two rooms with the spiders right, even with levitate? Looking at the map I can’t really see any other way to the library than pass the hidden wall in the room with some spiders in it.

Last time I tried I was a couple levels lower, but was thinking it might be possible to send the pet in and run pass and FD? Would be nice to have a way of doing it that works on a CR as well

No, you don't pass any rooms with spiders.

From the entrance, you have a circular room where you can go left or straight. You take the left (east) path and drop down a couple of meters. There's a door in front of you and the room with spiders is to your right. If you open that door which is immediately in front of you, you'll see a deep pit. Levitate down that pit. This bypasses the spiders completely. (Just wait until the pathing spider is not standing immediately next to that pit before you descend.)

At the bottom of the pit is a single undead spawn that won't see you with IVU on, and you can just /camp off any (unlikely) aggro from any spider that may have aggro'd on the way down. This preserves your IVU for when you come back in after cycling.

iirc there was 1 spider room after the drop down tho...left side...think its 2 spiders then you're home free to undead

its been years though...if you have any form of lev its pretty easy even at 37...i started soloing there at 34 on my necro

either way...send pet, run through, FD clean, /q, welcome to the best solo spot for many levels

my paint skills are garbage, but the small little red x on the wiki map is the drop down, left into room "3" is spiders, then a quick shimmy shake into the tunnel to library and you're home free

i also circled a really sweet spot - its 100% med/AFK safe as long as nobody trains you...on the far side of library courtyard area headed towards "6" on the map (down on the lower / very outside level)...theres a set of 2 static spawns in that little jut out then nothing til you turn the curve into "6"

Before you enter the front of the library, the corner on your right is also a safe spot. There's no safe spot within due to the many roamers.

You might want to start from a secluded point outside the library, establish a pull spot and start working methodically from there because there may be a bunch of healers around the library and they WILL heal through walls if you're within range, which can be very annoying if you decide to kill stuff on the spot.

It is a nice area and you can do it safely but you can get overwhelmed if you're not careful. I found a timer quite useful when killing there to not get caught with your pants down, especially inside the library. I don't recommend setting up in the main library room.

What a helpful member of our community. It'd be a shame if anything happened to him.

Thx for the pointers guys! Library has served me well and I’m planning on moving towards church next. Any pointers on how to approach it? I assume most mobs are higher level and that I need to use the higher lvl charm.
