Default Monk weight question

How much AC does one lose per stone overweight? i'm looking to get a GoP and Idol of Thorned and it'll probably put me 4 stones overweight, but i get 18AC from it - does it balance out?

test it out by withdrawing 4 stone in cash. If you lose ~20 it's probably worth it, otherwise nah.

I've been told numerous different things, weight limits ranging from 14 to 24. I've always been curious what the actual server side calculations were as opposed to what is shown on the client (pretty sure it has been said the two are not exactly in sync).

There was a recent patch note saying that all monk weight limits are now 14 regardless of level, even though the client will show you otherwise at higher levels. So you can't rely on the client's AC value to answer this question if you're a high level. The only way to answer it would be to do some parsing.
