Game Mechanics: Bard Mana Regen

I may be mistaken here, but bard mana regen seems to be bugged. My UI is showing 1 mana per tick standing and 2 sitting. I believe this is correct with max (1) meditate, however even with mana songs such as Cantana of Soothing or Cassindra's Chorus of Clarity, I'm only still getting 1 mana per tick (standing) and no separate ticks for either. My current theory is however bards are coded to limit mana regen to 1 or 2 may also be negating the song effects, although I haven't tried Clarity or POTG to confirm if it's not just something related to the songs being used on self or something else entirely.
