Red face Will you play Battlefield 2025?

New Battlefield is coming up. It looks a bit promising but I still can't decide if I will spend money on it. If it is anywhere near as expensive as a BlackCell battlepasses from CoD, I'll pass.

I've heard Battlefield 2025 will offer a monthly subscription which is interesting since I don't know any other fps game than Counter-Strike 2 and PlanetSide 2 which offer a subscription. Personally, I am in the mood for a new Battlefield, just not sure if it's worth it to buy those battlepasses and pay the monthly subscription.

A thing I like about Battlefield is that they use real names for the weapons and not some imaginary names like BattleBit Remastered and Call of Duty use. Noone will play Black Ops 7. I'm only interested in the Modern Warfare Makarov story at this point.

I think if this Battlefield is any good, it will revive the series. People are tired from BF 2042 and Black Ops 7. Imo Modern Warfare III had the best gameplay in the CoD series but it suffered from that magical skill based matchmaking which rigged things pretty hard. It was still fun.

Naw. I grew out of this style of FPS after my military career ended. The games just aren't realistic enough for me.

A new HALO on the other hand. Maybe!

I haven't played many of the recent battlefields, but I have been itching to load it up, so I am planning on trying this one.

Honestly, yes, still planning to check out Battlefield 2025, mostly because no other FPS captures large-scale warfare the way Battlefield can when it's done right. If the subscription includes mod tools or server customization like the old days, that alone would be worth it for me.

So has it gone from season passes to monthly subscriptions now? I'm very much not up to date with FPS shooters, loved BF3 though back in the day [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

It was the most immersive FPS that ive been in (what would be considered copywrite theft today) from all the apocalypse now locations and stuff was great.

Their fooliage system was.. weird. But the best foliage in a game by far. That was immersive as fuck.

I remember I used to get so good with the sycile knife, and 1 by 1 you could kil like 6 people whlie they moved through the folliage and they would be shooting in random directions not knowing where you were. Was good times.

But nothing.

NOTHING.

Compares to flying squadded out B25 bombers over enemy airfields while they try to take off and do that to you.
