Default A Highwayman

These little critters seem to be forgotten by all of everquest, but I managed to find proof of their existence back on everlore.

There used to be 'a highwayman' in the buildings along the ramp to highpass in Eastern Karana. They were removed some time shortly after velious.

They're essentially renamed bandits with a higher level range. They dropped bandit sashes and bronze, they can be casters even though the top of the page says not:

Quote:
Some cast and some dont... the casters are harder than they con.
Most buildings had 1, the building at the part where the ramp crosses from one side of the chasm to the opposite side had three.

Edit: Better Documentation

First Tower
(-976.3, -4573) Facing North

Second Tower
(-2347.5, -3738) Facing North

Third Tower (Milea Clothspinner should not attack these)
(-1725, -5992) Facing South
(-1734, -5982.5) Facing East
(-1743, -5992) Facing North

They were about the same level as the brigands that are missing in west karana along the path, too. The right bandit where the two bandits spawn, and one roamer walks to used to piss me off every time it'd pop as a brigand -- because it'd take more mana to burn down, and chances were I'd have a full repop by the time I medded to full. I still to this day, invis before hitting that ramp to go up to Highpass out of habit.

Yes I was surprised they were not there when I first ran up that ledge.

I also remember highwaymen, vaguely. I can probably count on one hand how often I climbed that ramp on live so I didn't think much of it here.
