Default Deciding on beta

I was curious as to how many people are going to start fresh on the beta server knowing that there will be transfers available? I mostly want to know to decide whether or not I want to spend time on it or just wait until release. Any input would be great. Thanks.

WAit... there's going to be transfer available? I thought everyone had to start fresh. This is JUST for the beta of red99 and not for the full release of red99, right? Are you telling me decked out 60s are going to be transferring from their characters from blue? Source on this?

If they allow Kunark gear to transfer intact, I'll probably spend one or two days goofing around and then lose any interest in the beta. I'll test resists, give a bit of feedback, and then come back when the server is ready. Kunark gear will make it impossible to have fun battles in the beta, and without that, there's no way it'll keep me interested for a month or however long it'll run. It'll just be a bunch of assclowns transfering their best p99 gear to the beta server so they can run around jerking off over gear that isn't available.

If they make it so Kunark gear doesn't transfer, or transfers only for level 60 characters and is flagged no-drop, I'll probably play every day of the beta.

Well if a large majority are going to be starting fresh then I will play on it because there will be things to do, but if everyone is just going to be decked out in kunark gear with me having no way to compete I will just wait for the actual release.
