Did you manually re-construct that EC in Firefox or is there some kind of "Load X Zone File" script? I am curious about your little GUI for switching the body textures too. What did you code it in? Flash, or JavaScript? Pretty neat. The Maya tutorial is lengthy (and I don't use Maya currently) but definitely very informative. UVing is my most hated thing in the world of 3D! My question to you is, how are you importing the models? Does Maya import .S3D files natively? Bummer they don't come in UV'd!
