Default Should I have rolled a monk?

Now don't get my wrong my rogue is fun and all, it was also one of the classes I never got far with in live. But so far from what I've seen and read, it seems like rogues are just slightly higher damage way less utility, in comparison of course.

Tell me I'm wrong 'cuz when I reroll it's gonna suck only being able to carry 14 stone until level 50! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

PS - This is not a troll, I am legitimately interested!

Do you want to be pure DPS or do you want to be decent DPS and utility. You seem to know the strength you just need to decide which you want...

Have to ask yourself if you actually want that utility. Some people roll monks and realize they just do not like pulling for groups, which is a large part of a monk's expected utility.

Monks are also pretty decent soloists, and tank well enough throughout Velious. Just play whichever you think you'd enjoy. If you try to play what you think is the best, that will probably only end in grief.

A lot of people are saying that, but nobody is explaining WHY or providing evidence to support that claim.

Anyway, as long as you don't mind never being able to loot anything heavier than gems, go for it.

No. It was fucked like a year ago and long since fixed. I don't know who the trolls are that are saying that AC doesn't do anything.
